Group Bookings

Being in the heart of ceremonial London, the museum is a great addition to any group day out. The Banqueting House is directly opposite Horse Guards and has links to our founding. The Guards Museum, Churchill War Rooms, National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, Trafalgar Square, Downing Street, Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, The Queen’s Gallery and The Royal Mews are a short walk away.

Notes to visitors / group bookings

1

For visitor comfort, we only offer tours to groups of up to 25 visitors at one time. Should you wish for museum staff guided tours rather than use of an audio guide (included free of charge in entry price) we will discuss breaking up the group into smaller numbers and staggering entry times.

2

Tours must be confirmed in writing prior to a visit.

3

With only one visitor toilet on site, tour leaders of large groups are asked to direct visitors to the St James’ Park facilities opposite us (across the Parade Ground) before arriving at the museum for their visit.

4

Visitors may wish to make the most of visiting in time for the:

11:00hrs Guard change on the Parade Ground (10:00hrs on Sunday)

16:00hrs Garrison Inspection in the Front Yard (off Whitehall)

5

Please note that there are no catering facilities on site.
